Northern suburbs man facing a charge of indecent dealing with a child hit with three drug-related charges

A 39-year-old man facing a serious charge of indecent dealing with a child has been told of three new drug-related charges against him.

Mitchell James Logan appeared in Joondalup Magistrates Court via video link from Hakea Prison on Friday accused of a breach of protective bail conditions and indecent dealing with a child under the age of 13.

Magistrate Michelle Harries read out the new charges to Mr Logan which are connected to Girrawheen on April 14.

The charges are possession of cannabis with an intent to sell or supply, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia, namely scales with cannabis on them.

Magistrate Harries remanded him to reappear on May 10 for legal advice.
