Position Description:	The Company Community Newspaper Group publishes 17 newspapers and is one of Western Australia’s largest media organisations. Each week over 3/4 million* people across metropolitan Perth and the City of Mandurah read their local community newspaper. The Role This is an exciting role where you will manage two of our flagship papers, Stirling Times and Eastern Suburbs Reporter. In this challenging role, you will be responsible for maximising the growth and profitability of these well-regarded papers. You will also be responsible for managing a team of highly driven sales people. Reporting to the Sales Display Manager, you will be responsible for achieving or exceeding the company’s budgeted rate, revenue and volume targets for your area, identifying new revenue streams within your area and exploring methods to increase customers’ spend.
Key Criteria:	You will be a dynamic and proactive individual with enthusiasm, great communications skills and a genuine drive to succeed. You will be committed to the delivery of excellent customer service. Always leading by example, you will ensure your team is well equipped with all the selling tools and resources needed to complete their tasks in a professional manner. To be considered for this role, you will have a track record in achieving personal and team sales targets. You must be able to demonstrate strong presentation and negotiation skills and an understanding of financial reports and business planning. Previous experience in a management role within the media industry is highly desirable.
