Passage to India to help children

Ms Lee and her colleagues from Challis Early Childhood Education Centre raised $3800 for educational resources for disadvantaged children through the Equal Health organisation.

Ms Lee works at Therapy Focus in Bentley.

She said this was the first year a team of educators would travel with the group.

‘I will be focusing on helping special needs kids and enhancing their involvement in education,’ she said.

‘I’m really looking forward to using my experience in therapy to help these kids and their families.’

Ms Lee will travel to India on February 7 for two weeks.

Equal Health is a volunteer organisation that provides aid for communities in India and East Timor.

The group holds two-week camps in India each February with a team of volunteer Australian health professionals.
