ONE lucky Perth lotto player has claimed the third highest prize in the State this year after taking out the division one prize in tonight’s Powerball lotto draw.

The winning ticket scooped the entire pool of $6 million and was sold in Cannington at Carousel Lottery Centre and News.

Lotterywest spokeswoman Chloe Lawler said the win was the third highest prize won in WA this year.

“2017 has now produced 42 division one winners who have shared in almost $100 million in prize money,” she said.

“Almost 30,000 other West Australians also took out a prize in tonight’s Powerball draw, including one lucky local who is set to pocket almost $130,000 in division two prize money.”

This is also the second time this year the Carousel store has sold a winning division one ticket, with a February win gifting one lucky punter $2 million.

The winning numbers in tonight’s draw were 30, 38, 6, 9, 22 and 19. The Powerball was 10.
