RIVERTON Library will host a week-long book sale to promote the Garage Sale Trail’s message of reusing items to reduce waste to landfill.
Environment Minister Stephen Dawson was at the library yesterday with the City of Canning’s Mayor and chief executive to peruse the books and highlight the ‘choose to reuse’ message.
More than 30 WA local governments participate in the annual Garage Sale Trail which takes place this weekend with more than 10,000 garage sales and stalls expected nationally.
