Though she was edged out by Jeff The Tipster in her heat, punters installed Reverberate as the favourite from her inside draw due to consistent form and big race experience.

A moderate jump saw the Linda Britton-trained Reverberate land several lengths off the pace as Mullet Hunter and Freeway Ace vied for early control.

Reverberate pushed forward in the middle stages to hunt the leaders and by the time they hit the turn for home she was in a position to strike.
