THE Cockburn Lakes Amateur Football Club hopes to fundraise about $6000 for not-for-profit, Outback Academy Australia, when it auctions off specially designed jerseys after this weekend’s game.
Since 2013, the club has picked one round of the WAAFL season to raise money for a community-driven group.
This year’s recipient was established to support employment opportunities and the well-being of Aboriginal Australians.

Cockburn Lakes club secretary Lee Nott said his side was happy to use the home clash with Secret Harbour to support a group doing great work.
Former Carlton footballer Syd Jackson, champion wheelchair basketballer Brad Ness, former West Coast and St Kilda footballer Phil Narkle and champion boxer Darryl Kickett will be at the game.
Prizes up for grabs include signed AFL jerseys provided by Fremantle, West Coast and Carlton.
The action begins 2.15pm Saturday at Anning Park in South Lake.
