Perth to enjoy warmer weather on weekend after late Friday thunderstorm

PERTH is all set for a warm, sunny weekend – but not before a late thunderstorm hits today.

The Bureau of Meteorology has forecast a sunny 32C for Friday, but clouds will develop later this afternoon.

There is a chance of a shower or gusty thunderstorm during the late afternoon and evening.

But after that temporary change, the weather is set to return back to optimum spring levels over the next couple of days.

The Bureau has predicted a mostly sunny top of 30C tomorrow after an overnight minimum of 17C.

On Sunday, we’ll be looking at a cooler top of 23C after a minimum of 14C.
