Piara Waters: police investigating death of 75-year-old woman

MAJOR Crime Squad detectives are investigating the death of a 75 year-old Piara Waters woman.

Police and St John ambulance officers were called to a Guerin Avenue home about 5.45pm yesterday.

Upon arrival, they found the woman with critical injuries and she died shortly afterwards at the scene.

An 87 year-old man who was known to the woman has been taken into custody.

Major Crime Squad detectives are asking anyone who drove along Guerin Avenue bounded by Wright Roadd, Columbia Parkway and Mason Road between 4:30pm and 6:30pm on Monday, and who has dash cam vision of people on Guerin Ave, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
