Police hunt for attacker after Armadale man stabbed

AN Armadale man is in a critical condition at Royal Perth Hospital after being stabbed in the Armadale CBD last night.

The 26-year-old man was in a group just after midnight when he was approached by another man and his group of friends.

There was a verbal altercation and the victim received stab wounds to his chest.

The offender ran from the scene along Jull Street towards Orchard Avenue, while the victim sought assistance at the Gull service station on Third Road.

He was taken by ambulance to Armadale Hospital before being transferred to Royal Perth.
