WELL done to Kate Davis (Rent relief for tenancy trauma, Comment, November 29) for helping disadvantaged tenants.

Bonds used to be quite OK until involvement of the bond administrator became compulsory.

It was always unfair when tenants could not promptly get their bond back, as they had to pay them upfront.

Good tenants deserve better.

I took to paying tenants out in immediate cash and then found myself suffering the woes and delays.

Then I got smart and ceased charging any bond. I’m completely free of the dreaded bond administrator!
