AN OLYMPIAN is set to be one of more than 600 athletes heading to Armadale for the City’s duathlon.
Ryan Bailie competed at the Rio Olympics in 2016, and will be taking to the Champion Lakes Regatta Centre to fight for the State and National Duathlon Champion titles in the City of Armadale Duathlon.
Athletes will also be competing to qualify for the 2018 World Multisport Championship taking place in Denmark.

READ NOWMr Bailie won the 2016 duathlon, and spectators can also see current world duathlon champion Felicity Sheedy-Ryan compete in the women’s race.
“The countdown is on, with only a couple of weeks to go we’re all really excited,” event director Dave Budge said.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing the turnout this year, I know there’s going to be some fierce competition.”
Registration for the duathlon closes on Friday, October 6, at 12pm.
