Two races later, Sunset Mirage had no problems adjusting to the 488m journey after a couple of months racing up in the city over 520m when he took out the Free To All.

Sunset Mirage launched well from box one and held off a brief challenge for the front before surging away to put the issue to rest.

He crossed the finish line four-and-a-half lengths ahead of the second-placed Runaway To Mars in 27.31.

Sunset Ali completed the hat-trick with a dominant display in the 50 years of Racing Peter Seller Grade 4/5 (400m).

The talented short-courser obliterated his rivals as he rolled to his eighth victory in 11 career starts.

Sunset Ali found the front early and then rattled home to win by nearly seven lengths in 22.09.
