PERTH is experiencing a shift in its energy which can only mean one thing – Fringe World Festival has returned for 2017.

“I’m really proud this year’s festival has remained true to form” Hasler said.

“It still has an incredibly diverse program that is really strong and entertaining, with some new big shows joining us for the first time, like BARBU and Velvet, our Fringe favourites in Briefs and La Soiree have returned, and an incredibly strong program from our local artists sits alongside them.

“It’s wonderful Fringe is being chosen by our local artists and companies as an important platform for the presentation of their work.

“There is a brilliant new local circus company that has just formed called Maxima and they’re presenting their first ever show Fearless, which was made specifically for Fringe. It’s going to be amazing.”
