Man charged over aggravated robbery of 85-year-old woman in Eden Hill

POLICE have charged a man from Swan View over the robbery of an 85-year-old woman in Eden Hill.

It will be alleged the man entered the woman’s home on Second Avenue at about 8am on Thursday October 5.

He allegedly assaulted her before stealing various items including her Nissan Micra Hatch.

The car was found later that day.

A 31-year-old man has been charged with aggravated burglary, robbery with circumstances of aggravation and stealing a motor vehicle.

He is due to appear before the Midland Magistrates Court tomorrow.
