Mrs Berry joined the EPDBA Board as club secretary in August 2009 and since her arrival, she has put her time, effort, blood, sweat and tears into the club, according to chairman Anthony Fletcher.

‘As club secretary, she is the main focal point for almost all contact with the club, where she facilitates and organises aspects of the club’s Saturday domestic competition, essentially fills the role of WABL co-ordinator and can be seen at the SBL games setting up or packing away,’ Mr Fletcher said.

‘She has also been an integral part of, and a driving force behind, the recent implementation of the club’s new constitution and management structure.’

The EPDBA is looking for a volunteer co-ordinator to help Mrs Berry with the process of fully implementing the management structure change and to look after the various volunteers.

Mrs Berry has two boys who play for East Perth Eagles, one at domestic competition level and one who plays WABL as well as representing WA at national carnivals.
