Springs Apartments: buyers spring into action

Keren BellosEastern Reporter

Downsizers are also taking the opportunity to move into an apartment surrounded by the amenity offered by the Springs Shopping Centre.

QUBE managing director Mark Hector said the apartments were a fraction of the cost of larger houses in the area, starting at $283,000 and creating a viable alternative.

“Given that the medium local house price is more than $482,000 and out of reach for many first-time purchasers, it’s not surprising that young buyers have recognised that Springs Apartments is a very affordable option,” he said.

“A third of the apartments have now sold, going to a mix of buyers who are taking advantage of the attractive pricing.

“Purchasers buying early off-the-plan enabled them to secure their chosen apartment in the development, which is also attracting downsizers and investors.”

Developed by QUBE Property Group and Erceg Management, Springs Apartments spans three levels and comprises 36 one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments ranging from 65sq m to 132sq m.

Each home includes stone benchtops, stainless-steel cooking appliances, a dishwasher, dryer and sliding doors out to a spacious courtyard or elevated balcony.

There is also secure parking and storage for each apartment.

The location next to a shopping centre means residents can leave their car at home and walk to get what they need.

The centre has more than 30 retailers and service providers, including a Woolworths supermarket, Jetts Fitness, specialty stores, Springs Tavern and bottleshop, medical specialists, food outlets and Acacia Hill Childcare Centre.

Springs Apartments is close to Whiteman Park, Noranda Sporting Complex, Bennett Springs sports field and Altone Park Golf Course.

Galleria Shopping Centre, Altone Park Shopping Centre and Malaga Markets are in easy reach, along with wineries and boutique breweries in the Swan Valley.

Springs Apartments is due to be completed by November 2017.
