Football: Edmund Rice Centre’s top talents to take part in Harmony Cup in Balga

EDMUND Rice Centre WA’s top multicultural footballers will be kicking goals for the community at the annual Harmony Cup in Balga on September 27.

The free carnival will feature bouncy castles, rides and fun activities.

Players from the Edmund Rice Lions and Butler Falcons will be headlining the match on the day, which will be umpired and coached by the centre’s academy products.

Edmund Rice youth programs co-ordinator Bella Ndayikeze said the centre was looking to grow Australian rules in the multicultural community and showcase the talent it had seen through its programs.

The juniors curtain raiser will start at 11.30am, followed by formalities at 1pm and bounce down for the Harmony Cup match at 1.30pm.
