Bassendean business fire: police seek person of interest

MIDLAND Detectives are investigating a deliberately lit fire at a Bassendean business on February 2.

About 11.20pm, an unknown person entered the rear yard of the property on Old Perth Road and set fire to a rubbish bin, which was against the rear wall of the building.

As the fire grew, the person added various items to it.

Police would like to speak to a person who is described as fair skinned with long hair and was wearing a dark coloured T-shirt with a white motif and baggy grey pants.
