In conjunction with the Duyfken and the Fremantle Shipwreck Gallery, WAMA will hold a festival at the Esplanade Reserve to celebrate International Talk Like a Pirate Day on Sunday.

The organisers are hoping to get people into Fremantle to celebrate the day with free entertainment and free entry.

The festival is on Sunday, September 22, from 10am to 4pm at the Esplanade Reserve.

The festival will include market stalls, sword-fighting demonstrations, a replica of the HM Bark Endeavour and a number of children’s activities, including possible sightings of Captain Hook and Tinkerbell.

The Duyfken will also be open for tours for a gold coin donation, and will also have a storyteller on board for the children.
