Hecklers gather outside Paddo to protest against Pauline Hanson

IT was dubbed ‘Pots and Pizzas with Pauline’, but they could have added ‘protesters and police’ to that title as well.

With the One Nation leader scheduled to speak to a crowd at Mt Hawthorn pub the Paddington Alehouse on Thursday evening, a group of about 40 vocal dissenters gathered outside.

Shortly after 7pm, a group of about 40 people gathered outside the Paddo and protested their concerns about the presence of Senator Hanson.

At the height of the demonstration there were 20 WA Police officers present to ensure the protest was peaceful.

Police intervened and issued two persons with move-on notices.

No arrests were made.
