TWENTY of Perth’s best musical acts will play at UWA’s Somerville Auditorium as part of RTRFM’s In The Pines music festival on April 30.
Making a comeback to the festival after 21 years, iconic rockers Jebediah will take to the stage bringing a plethora of material, including Leaving Home and Harpoon from their debut album Slightly Odway.
The band first played the festival in 1996, before their first album was released.
Perth quartet Childsaint, whose single Hallejuah Heartache was the most played song on the station in 2016, will also perform as well as adrenaline fuelled Fremantle four-piece Hideous Sun Demo.
Another band back from a long absence form the festival is folk rock duo Sodastream, which coincides with the release of their first album in 10 years titled Little by Little.
Top didgeridoo player Phill Walley-Stack will kick off proceedings with a Welcome to Country before joining the line-up with his blend of traditional sounds.
The 10-hour festival will be broadcast live on RTRFM 92.1 from 11am until 10pm.
