Police hunt for man who wounded Northbridge bouncer

PERTH Detectives have released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak with in connection with the wounding of a bouncer in Northbridge overnight.

Two bouncers were working outside a William Street venue last night at 9.40pm when they were approached by a man who was declined entry to the club.

After he was turned away, a fight began and when the bouncers attempted to restrain the man he attacked them with an unknown weapon.

One of the bouncers, in his 20s, received lacerations to the arms and ribs and is now in a stable condition in Royal Perth Hospital.

The man ran from the scene.

Police describe him as being in his 30s, olive-skinned and about 180cm tall.

He had short dark hair and a trimmed beard.

He was wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt and a blue jacket.
