READ NOW“Last week we saw good results for us and Armadale against the bigger name clubs, so the derby’s going to be a good game,” he said.
“The first time we met this season, we probably got the goals just at the right time and there wasn’t really much between the two teams, so this will be another tight contest.
“Armadale are a much-improved team from last season. The style of football is different and the results show that.
“The quality of players they’ve got in there is very good so it’ll be an interesting game.”
Armadale coach John O’Reilly said he was expecting another close match.
“Both teams will feel confident after getting a result against tough competition last week,” he said.
“Last time we met with Cockburn, we felt we could have got at least a point, if not the three points out of that game.
“We made a few mistakes that gifted Cockburn a few opportunities so hopefully we’ll tighten up on that area and be a bit more clinical this weekend.”
