City of Swan to hold special meeting on Midland Oval redevelopment

THE City of Swan will hold a special meeting at the Midland Town Hall on Monday, January 30, to discuss the future of the proposed Midland Oval redevelopment master plan.

Swan Mayor Mick Wainwright said the meeting would be used to consolidate and consider all items in a motion passed by the council last month.

The three options for consideration are to endorse the amended Midland Oval Redevelopment Master Plan and the Place Making Strategy and continue with the detailed planning and design stage of the project; review and revise the amended master plan to increase the amount of public open space and endorse the Place Making strategy; or to develop a new Master Plan.
