MONTHS of preparation came to fruition when the Rise Community Network launched its first book to capture the faces and stories of people supported by the not-for-profit.

The book titled Celebrating People also shares the stories of volunteers and staff at Rise, who provide services in aged care, people with a disability, mental health and youth across the eastern region.

Rise Community Network chief executive Justine Colyer said a small event marked the book launch on February 23 at Helen’s Place in Middle Swan.

“We hope this is just the start and there are many more stories in years to come,” she said.
