Summer Mozart Festival: Two concerts to be held in Kalamunda

THE WA Mozarteum will hold two concerts in Kalamunda as part of its Summer Mozart Festival.

The first on Wednesday, January 25 is the ‘Mozart Soiree on the Hill’ at Zig Zag Cultural Centre from 7pm.

The second, ‘Mozart – Piano Magic’ will be at the Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre Theatre on Sunday, February 5 from 3pm.

There will also be concerts at UWA from 3pm on January 22 and 29.

The WA Mozarteum will explore the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his friends, with readings from the composer’s letters.

Performers include principle members of the WA Symphony Orchestra and chamber music specialists, with Russian concert pianist Irina Vasileva a special guest artist at the February 5 concert.
