Mundaring Shire awarded its $2500 ‘milestone event’ grant to the P&C team at Swan View Primary School to help fund activities to commemorate 75 years of education at the school.

International kite maker Michael Alvares will incorporate artwork created by up to 320 students on to the king-sized kite.

Other attractions will include an exhibition of the school’s history over the decades at a fete in October and the burial of a time capsule.
