York hot air balloon crash captain still in serious condition

A PILOT remains in hospital with head injuries following a hot-air balloon crash in York last Saturday morning.

Police say the hot air balloon clipped trees and crash landed just after 8am.

A passenger on the balloon said “all the passengers were okay, but the pilot was seriously injured”.

The pilot, believed to be his 40s, sustained head injuries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital.
