THE Kalamunda Cougars finished Saturday with mixed results, having two wins and two losses.

The E1 league team won quite comfortably at Ray Owen, beating the Forrestfield Rhinos 15.7 (97) to 4.4 (28).

Daniel Henderson continued his impressive season by picking up best on ground.

The A grade teams travelled to windy City Beach Oval to take on West Coast Cowan.

The Colts were unable to match West Coast, going down 1.2 (8) to 13.15 (93).

Ryan Newbold won the best on ground award.

The reserves were very much in the game at half-time, being only five goals down with a strong breeze going into the third quarter, but West Coast held strong and finished the game off very strongly, winning 15.5 (93) to 3.5 (23).

Liam Radford worked hard all game in the backline.

The A grade Cougars started the game as their previous two weeks quite poorly, being down at some stages of the game by as much as six goals.

The half-time break did them wonders as they came out firing in the third quarter and finished off the comeback in the last, winning 13.9 (87) to 11.8 (74).

Albie Dean was brilliant through the midfield and Brett Van Groningen again featured amongst the awards. All A grades teams have a bye this weekend, while E1s travel to second-placed Roleystone.
