Global 6km for water in Mullaloo

Staff WriterJoondalup Times

SIX kilometres is the average distance people throughout the developing world walk for water – water that is often unsafe to drink.

You can help change that in a fun, community event taking place in Tom Simpson Park, Mullaloo this Saturday morning from 9am until 12pm.

True North Church is partnering with World Vision to hold the Global 6K for Water in the City of Joondalup, encouraging the community of Perth to walk or run 6km to provide lasting clean water to children in Ethiopia.

Just by registering you are helping provide clean water to Ethiopia, with part proceeds from all registrations going towards the Ethiopian Water Project.
