ONE lucky West Australian has begun the working week nearly $1 million richer after taking out the division one prize in Saturday Lotto.
The ticket, which remains unclaimed and was sold from Padbury News and Post, marks the 35th division one Lotto win for Western Australia so far this year.
And with a $50 million Oz Lotto jackpot on Tuesday night, Lotterywest spokeswoman Chloe Lawler said Lotto fever has well and truly gripped the state.
“While Lotto is very much a game of chance, the odds certainly seem to be in our favour,” Ms Lawler said.
“The state is now producing more than one division one winner per week.
“Lotto luck doesn’t discriminate, we’ve certainly seen winning trends in Rockingham, Mandurah, Bunbury and Joondalup.”
