Joondalup: Transperth guided tour just the ticket for seniors

Laura PondJoondalup Times

SENIORS are encouraged to find out more about Transperth services at a free guided tour in Joondalup next week.

Transperth is hosting an information session on Monday afternoon for people who recently received a Seniors Card to learn more about public transport and how it can work for them.

Spokesman David Hynes said permanent WA residents aged 61 or older who work less than 25 hours a week were eligible for free public transport through the Seniors SmartRider.

“With free public transport for Seniors SmartRider holders in off-peak times, it’s worth getting up to speed on Transperth services,” he said.

The tour leaves from, and returns to, Joondalup Library.
