HIGH interest has moved Monica McInerney’s author talk to a bigger venue.
The Australian fiction writer of many internationally best-selling novels will be at Prendiville Catholic College in Ocean Reef from 6pm on July 21.
Her latest book, The Trip of a Lifetime, is set in the Clare Valley of South Australia and the Irish countryside and explores themes of migration, ageing, travel, home, secrets, rifts, rivalries and reunions.

“It’s filled with the subjects and themes I love to explore in my novels – the ties and tensions of family life, the impact of secrets past and present, the love and humour found in everyday life, as well as the sadder, darker times that we all experience,” she said.
McInerney’s books will be available to buy on the night and have signed.
