Sweet Melodies band to host 2017 Hindu Navrang festival in Joondalup

NORTHERN suburbs band Sweet Melodies will host its annual Navrang festival over four nights this September.

The events at Arena Joondalup on September 22, 23, 29 and 30 will coincide with the Hindu celebrations for Navratri.

Band member Lalit Doolabh said donations from ticket sales this year would go to the Heart Foundation and the Respiratory Foundation.

Each event starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost $10 per person, with children under 10 free. Call 0438 903 667 to book.

Organisers are also planning Garba dance practise lessons for children under 12 on September 2 and 16. Email events@sweetmelodies.com.au.
