FREMANTLE Dockers’ first AFL Women’s draft pick Hayley Miller was a special guest at Oceanside Little Athletics Club’s season wind-up last month.

The former Mullaloo club member returned to hand out trophies and to encourage the youngsters to “follow their dreams”.

At the event, club president Marcus Blinco described the season as “one of the best yet” and said he was “very proud of all the kids”.

During the 2016-17 season, some of the athletes achieved more than 30 personal bests.

The club also won the all-age relay at the season final and talented thrower Sinead Du Toit broke more than 10 records, many of which were her own.

Mr Blinco said he was happy to return as president for another season with support from both parents and athletes.
