The back-to-back wins took the side from eighth to seventh but Joondalup faces a significant challenge to continue its winning run against second-placed Mandurah and undefeated Perry Lakes this weekend.

In the men’s competition, the Wolves were on the end of rare back-to-back defeats after a 78-73 loss to the 11th-placed Flames and 105-93 beating from Willetton.

The double defeat dropped the team from top spot to third.
