Police hunt for violent Kwinana liquor store robbery suspect

ROCKINGHAM Detectives believe the public can help them identify a man wanted in relation to a violent bottle shop robbery in Kwinana.

The incident occurred at a liquor store on Gilmore Avenue in Kwinana on Monday, September 25.

About 1:50pm, a man entered the store, browsed the shelves and took an item.

He then waited for another customer to enter the store so he could exit through the one way door.

However, a staff member stopped the man and attempted to remove the bottle from his possession.

As a result, a physical altercation took place and the staff member was pushed into the wall and threatened by the man.

Police released CCTV image of a man they believe may be able to assist them with the investigation.

He was described as dark skinned, 170cm tall, of a solid build with brown hair.

The man was last seen wearing a grey and black jumper with 83 written on the front and black jeans.
