Employees at the campus were encouraged to check in with their workmates in an effort to reduce depression and suicide.

The event ran from 10am to 11am and included talks from guest speakers, information and a morning tea, with raised funds going to charity.

In the maternity ward two babies born on September 8 received a book and a T-shirt to celebrate International Literacy Day.

For more than 20 years, the Australian Literacy Educators Association has aimed to distribute a book to each baby in Australia on International Literacy Day.

To date they have presented more than 13,000 books across the nation to these special Literacy Day Babies.
