It is organised by the Domestic Violence Action Group in Mandurah, and there will be two runs, one 10km and the other 4km.

Children under the age of 12 should be accompanied by an adult.

About 500 people took part in last year’s run.

The aim of the run is to raise awareness for White Ribbon Day on November 25.

The day is an opportunity for members of the community to support the elimination of violence against women.

Race packs will be available from Mandurah police station on October 12 and on the morning of the event at McLennan Park.
