PET owners can pick up tips on caring for their animals properly at the RSPCA WA’s Community Action Day at Rushton Park on February 15.
It is a free event intended to help members of the community who may be struggling with basic pet requirements.
RSPCA Inspectors, RSPCA dog trainers, local rangers, South Metropolitan TAFE vet staff and other rescue organisations are expected to be on site.

Attendees will learn how to be a responsible pet owner and learn about common problems like fleas, worms, ticks, fly bitten ears, mange, shelter, food and water.
The RSPCA WA will work with rangers to explain pet registrations and local council laws.
There will also be vets available to give free advice and check-ups.
Families in financial need will receive pet food, flea, worming and tick medication, veterinary consultations, dog training advice, and pamphlets explaining responsible pet ownership.
There will be a free sausage sizzle and other giveaways available on the day.
