Mandurah make-up artist creates Halloween scares

A MANDURAH make-artist horrified tourists and locals with her ghoulish designs at a pop-up event in Fremantle recently.

Mandurah’s Courtney Hollins is an internationally recognised artist who guest lectures at a beauty college in Perth.

Ms Hollins recently took out first place in the Australian Academy of Cinemograph Make-up Awards.

Online magazine Dupe featured a three dimensional Lego character she created, which went viral.

Ms Hollins teaches Diploma of Screen and Media students how to use wigs and liquid latex for maximum effect.

These students also got the chance to show off their creative talents in Fremantle.

“There is nothing more satisfying than seeing someone totally transformed by make-up and special effects,” Ms Hollins said.
