Mandurah Performing Arts Centre’s Splash to drench kids with fun these October school holidays

MANDURAH Performing Arts Centre’s Splash program in the October school holidays features performance and activities for kids and their families.

Anyone looking for inexpensive family entertainment can join in with the Sandpit, the fun art and crafts activities in the centre foyers from Wednesday, October 4 to Friday, October 6 between 10am and 3pm for a gold coin donation.

Last year’s sell-out circus workshops are back.

The circus workshops are run by Pulse Productions and include skills to increase confidence and concentration, build team work and communication and are run in a safe, non-competitive and nurturing environment for $15 per workshop.

The Boardwalk Theatre will welcome the Circus Carnival to town with whimsical tales of creatures of land and sea who will tumble, fly, leap and spin their way through the animal kingdom.

Zebras juggle and slip, kangaroos skip and somersault, elephants have street cred and rhythm, and even the dinosaur bones shake, clatter and roll to the music.

Carnival of the Animals whisks the audience away on a circus escapade inspired by Samille Saint-Saens salute to feathers, fur and fins.

Circa’s acrobats bring the classical music suite to life for a whole new generation of circus, music and animals lovers.

Show times are Thursday, October 5 (7pm) and Friday, October 6 (10am, 1pm).
