“Winning co-ordinator of the year is both humbling and rewarding,” she said.

“It is lovely that all the hard work, effort and enthusiasm of my team and myself is recognised.

“No one wins an award like this alone. It takes a dedicated team of enthusiastic people working in unison to achieve these results.”

Ms Gay said she has loved her time at Aubin Grove.

“It is a pleasure to work here in such a lovely environment,” she said.

“There are few jobs where you can laugh your way through your shifts.

“Seeing the children having so much fun not wanting to leave of an afternoon is a very rewarding experience.”
