Peel cycling brings family fun to Mandurah and Dwellingup

PEEL Trails Group is encouraging the community to get on their bikes and enjoy the natural beauty of the Peel region during this year’s Peel Region Cycle Instead Bikeweek Bonanza from March 10-26.

A variety of cycling activities are on offer, showcasing the region’s diverse and comprehensive network of cycle paths and trails.

Mandurah’s Bikeman hosts a casual family ride on the Erskine Nature Trail on Sunday, March 12 and local cycle clubs and groups are hosting social group rides in a range of Mandurah and Murray localities between March 20 and 22.

Dwellingup Adventures is hosting a Munda Biddi Explorer self-guided mountain bike ride on Saturday, March 18, for those interested in riding a purpose-built cycle trail in the Dwellingup bush.

All rides are free and there is something to suit new and experienced cyclists and participants of all ages and fitness levels.

Other free events include pedal power movie nights, skills training and coaching sessions, bike maintenance workshops and have-a-try events.
