Caron Harrison and five other registered nurses from Alcoa are donating their time during Alcoa’s global Month of Service, to provide 24-hour support to athletes during the three days of competition.

‘During Month of Service, Alcoa employees volunteer their time across a range of activities and there is great support for regional communities,’ Ms Harrison said.

Because of the large number of Alcoa volunteers supporting this Special Olympics event, it is eligible for a $3000 Action grant from Alcoa.
