I pressed the crosswalk button and when the green man appeared I started to walk across.

READ NOWAs I was walking a car turned in front of me. I continued with the flashing light and was tooted loudly from behind by a car nearly hitting me as they were turning right into Mandurah Terrace.
All this time I was pointing to the flashing red walking light.
Not only is this impatience unnecessary but downright dangerous.
Drivers, be educated on how to drive when pedestrians have the right to cross safely.
Otherwise why bother with the pedestrian lights at all?
