POLICE would like to speak to this man in relation to the theft of a car and premium fuel on Wednesday, August 2.

About 2.15pm, a gold coloured Ford Fairlane sedan pulled up at a service station in Barragup.

A man got out of the drivers seat and began to fill the vehicle with premium fuel.

After filling the vehicle, the man put the pump hose back, got into the car and drove off without paying for the fuel.

The registration number of the car was taken and police contacted the owner who realised their car had been stolen from their house in Madora Bay.

Further enquiries led investigators to believe the same car was involved in a stealing incident on a farming property in Darkin earlier that day.

Quote Reference Number 8628.
