Opinion: Deja vu as Trump rushes headlong into global conflict

SADDAM must go. Gaddafi must go. Assad must go. Why is there a feeling of deja vu about all this?

Regardless of whether Assad carried out this horrendous atrocity attributed to him, rushing headlong into a global conflict is insane.

The hands of the war-hawk neo-con industrial military complex must be prised from the world’s steering wheel before it is too late, otherwise Trump’s election as the most powerful man on the planet will turn out to be the biggest “con job” in history.
