Opinion: Great mate of a 28

I HAVE one of those terrible head colds with the chest cough. Us blokes are alright until we get sick, then we go sooky.

Well, I had run out of handkerchiefs and tissues so I went to the big Halls Head shopping centre.

As I approached the big doors I noticed a very concerned couple looking down at a 28 parrot that looked stunned as it had flown into the big glass doors.

The brave gentleman moved slowly over and risking being bitten, slowly patted the 28 on the head. After a couple of minutes the bird took off without even a thank you.

The two people were great and why I love Mandurah. No, I did not get any hankies as no one seems to sell them anymore. Unbelievable.
